Linda Crill’s Facilitation Services
A facilitator’s role is to lead an individual or group in achieving their objectives. Linda has has over 20 years experience in the business world using her facilitation skills to help clients become more successful.
Business leaders facilitate many of their own meetings, but when they do, there is always the challenge of juggling two opposing roles. It’s difficult to facilitate a group discussion and simultaneously hold a personal opinion about the subject. This is the reason a professional facilitator adds value by freeing up the leader to do only one role. A facilitator can surface the group’s diverse opinions and experiences so that quality decisions can be made by the group or leader.
All of us in business are proficient at some skills, but lacking at others. The purpose of one-on-one facilitation is to (1) identify and strengthen skills sets that need to be developed and/or (2) sort out priorities that need addressing from the multitude of must-dos most of us face everyday.
The Types of One-on-One Facilitation Include:
Executive Individual Facilitation
The focus of this type of facilitation is to facilitate executives in being more efficient leaders and increase their productivity.
Individual Performance Assessment & Actions
Business leaders need every employee to be working to their highest potential. Often a leader recognizes a person on their team who is not working well with the entire organization. This IPA&F is a service offered to business leaders.
The process includes:
- Meeting with the leader
- A series of several interviews with the individual in question to identify areas of improvement and willingness of individual to make necessary changes
- Recommendation to leader about next steps
- If the areas of improvement can’t be rectified by additional coaching sessions, then the goal may become to help the person to transition to a different job within or outside the organization where they can succeed.
